Resin Type
Special Chelating Resin |
Functional Group
Hydroxypropyl-Picolylamine |
Primary Application
Nickel Recovery from Laterite Ore & Acid Media |
TFI-CLS584 is a special chelating resin engineered with a hydroxypropyl-picolylamine functional group.
This resin can adsorb nickel with no interference from the iron (Fe) content in solution, effectively skipping the conventional method of impurity removal. Its specialized pore character and active functional group make it uniquely suited for nickel recovery from laterite nickel ore. When utilized with proper processing packages, the nickel content in the eluting liquor can be enriched to over 30 g/L.
| Storage | Resins should be stored in sealed containers or bags where temperature is above 0°C in dry conditions without exposure to direct sunlight. |
| Chemical Risk | Do not mix ion exchange resin with strong oxidizing agents; otherwise it will cause violent reactions. |
| First Aid | In case of eye contact with resins, rinse eyes immediately with plenty of water, and consult a specialist. |
| Physical Property | Dry polymers will expand when wetted and may cause an exothermic reaction. Spilled materials may be slippery. |
| Disposal | Material and samples must be disposed of according to local regulations. |
