Product Overview

TFI-CLS097 is a macroporous crosslinked polystyrene chelating resin impregnated with Di-(2-EthylHexyl)Phosphoric Acid (D2EHPA). The core principle of impregnating D2EHPA directly onto the resin matrix is to provide significantly easier separation and stripping capabilities while greatly simplifying operational processes.

In terms of performance, the selectivity of the loaded resin is equal to or better than liquid-liquid extraction using D2EHPA. To prevent solvent loss during service, the matrix has been specially engineered for tighter chemical bonding, ensuring long-term operational consistency.

Key Performance Advantages

  • High Selectivity: Matches or surpasses traditional D2EHPA extraction performance in metal ion separation.
  • Engineered Matrix: Designed with tighter bonding to minimize loss of the impregnated active agent.
  • Simplified Operations: Ready to use upon receiving, streamlining column loading, separation, and stripping procedures.

Precautions & Handling Guidelines

Storage Resins should be stored in sealed containers or bags where temperature is above 0°C in dry conditions without exposure to direct sunlight.
Chemical Risk Do not mix ion exchange resin with strong oxidizing agents; otherwise it will cause violent reactions.
First Aid In case of eye contact with resins, rinse eyes immediately with plenty of water, and consult a specialist.
Physical Property Dry polymers will expand when wetted and may cause an exothermic reaction. Spilled materials may be slippery.
Disposal Material and samples must be disposed of according to local regulations.
