Primary Application
Selective Uranium Extraction in Leach Liquor |
TFI-CLS887 is a gel strong base anion resin with a quaternary ammonium active group, specially developed for the selective extraction of uranium in uranium mine leach liquor.
Based on an optimized formulation and matrix construction, TFI-CLS887 provides excellent mechanical strength, enabling splendid extraction performance under rigorous leach liquor conditions, even in streams with high Total Suspended Solids (TSS). During its multi-stage synthesis, functional groups have been maximized to yield a high exchange capacity for uranium (>1.6 eq/L).
| Storage | Resins should be stored in sealed containers or bags where temperature is above 0°C in dry conditions without exposure to direct sunlight. |
| Chemical Risk | Do not mix ion exchange resin with strong oxidizing agents; otherwise it will cause violent reactions. |
| First Aid | In case of eye contact with resins, rinse eyes immediately with plenty of water, and consult a specialist. |
| Physical Property | Dry polymers will expand when wetted and may cause an exothermic reaction. Spilled materials may be slippery. |
| Disposal | Material and samples must be disposed of according to local regulations. |
