TFI-CLS347 is a macroporous polystyrene-based thiol chelating resin engineered with functional groups designed specifically for the selective removal of mercury and the recovery of precious metals (present as divalent cations) from industrial effluents.
The selectivity order of TFI-CLS347 is Hg > Ag > Cu > Pb > Cd > Ni > Co > Fe > Ca > Na. For mercury recovery applications, TFI-CLS347 is capable of reducing residual mercury concentrations to below 5 ppb. It is also highly effective for targeted recovery of Au, Pt, and Pd ions across various fields of chemical technology, such as wastewater treatment and precious metal recovery from rinse water in electronics manufacturing.
| Storage | Resins should be stored in sealed containers or bags where temperature is above 0°C in dry conditions without exposure to direct sunlight. |
| Chemical Risk | Do not mix ion exchange resin with strong oxidizing agents; otherwise it will cause violent reactions. |
| First Aid | In case of eye contact with resins, rinse eyes immediately with plenty of water, and consult a specialist. |
| Physical Property | Dry polymers will expand when wetted and may cause an exothermic reaction. Spilled materials may be slippery. |
| Disposal | Material and samples must be disposed of according to local regulations. |
